The first time I photographed Lauren was at her sister, Chapman’s, wedding a few years ago. They are my first set of brides that are sisters and it was truly a joy to work with their family again! They are such kind and gracious people and we were honored to be chosen by their family a second time to photograph such an important day. I was able to second shoot this bridal session and Lauren’s wedding with my mother-in-law, Kim, of W2 Photography.
Lauren is currently pursuing a career as a professional golfer so she spends a lot of her days in her golf attire with her hair under a hat or in a ponytail. She was so excited about her family and friends seeing her in this gorgeous dress because it’s so different from her normal look. By looking at her in this dress, you would think she walks around in this kind of thing all the time. She was absolutely stunning. Her dress was especially special to me because it is so much like my own wedding dress. The lace bolero over the strapless gown was the epitome of a classic bride. Her sister’s veil put the finishing touches on this gorgeous ensemble.
Lauren’s bridal portraits were taken at Central Energy in Columbia, SC. Her wedding is the first wedding held at the new venue and we were so excited to use it for the bridal session and see it decorated for the wedding a few weeks later.
I’m confident you’ll enjoy these highlights from Lauren’s gorgeous bridal session.
