Since Kylie and Todd live in Raleigh, we didn’t meet them in person until their engagement session. We had chatted on the phone and via email but when we met in person, we immediately hit it off. They are such great people and a joy to be around. We had a blast during their engagement session but their wedding was definitely one of the best! I truly wish we lived closer so we could get together for some more fun but we’ve promised to keep in touch at least. We had the opportunity of being with them basically from start to finish and I’m so glad we were able to capture each part of their special day. When we walked into their house and saw photos from our engagement session printed and framed in each room, it made my heart so happy! We also had the pleasure of working side by side with a team of incredible videographers who made the day all the more enjoyable.
Amidst all the joy surrounding the day, we also experienced sorrow as we learned of the passing of the groom’s grandfather the night before the wedding. They made sure he was still a part of the day by keeping a frame with his photo close to them. Kylie’s was tied around her bouquet and Todd and his father wore them inside of their jackets. It was such a kind gesture to honor his memory.
Kylie and Todd had a beautiful ceremony with three ring bearers and 2 flower girls who were absolutely adorable and so well-behaved. I especially loved the bridesmaids dresses and the bouquets were perfect. The food at the reception was definitely some of the best we’ve had. While thoroughly enjoying their reception, they still let us pull them away for a night shot that you’ll see below. I think it was totally worth it. Kylie’s smile is absolutely contagious and I’d be willing to bet you’ll smile while looking through these photos too.
Thank you, Kylie and Todd, for trusting us to capture this incredible day for you both. It means the world to us.
