Oh Erin and Dustin, where do I start? Erin heard about us from a co-worker before she reached out to me. I normally work from home but just happened to be in our home office on the day she emailed me! We sent a couple of messages back and forth and realized we were sitting about 10 feet from each other and then were able to meet in person right away! It was totally meant to be.
Erin is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I can’t believe how blessed we have been with our amazing couples and Erin and Dustin give us even more to be thankful for. Their Biltmore engagement session remains one of my favorite sessions of all time. We drove through a storm and they drove through hail on the way to the session but the clouds parted and it was an absolutely perfect evening at one of our favorite places!
These guys decided to get married at the Millstone at Adam’s Pond. Erin and I discussed it as a great venue option (I’m a little biased because that’s where Ryan and I were married) and I’m so glad they chose it. We also both used By Design as our florist and they continue to amaze me with their absolutely beautiful florals and decor that you’ll see below. I LOVE a huge bouquet and Erin’s was perfection.
Erin and Dustin were originally scheduled to be married in April of this year and unfortunately had to move their wedding date due to the pandemic. They kept their great attitudes through the entire stressful process of changing their wedding date and it was worth the wait! They had absolutely beautiful weather on their perfect day.
Erin had a number of special pieces of jewelry on her wedding day that belonged to her grandmothers and I loved photographing those pieces. Her grandmother’s earrings are my favorite. She lost one of her grandmothers in the months leading up to her wedding and this was such a great way to honor the memory of her grandmothers and have a little piece of them with her on such an important day.
We enjoyed getting to know their parents, families and members of their wedding party. They were truly surrounded by an amazing group of people to share in their special day and enjoy the fabulous party they threw for their reception.
I always send a sneak peek after sessions and Erin had the most excited reactions to them of anyone I’ve worked with. I know a lot of people don’t think about that being a big deal but it is a HUGE deal to any photographer you work with. It is SO important to us for our couples to love our photos because we pour our heart and soul into capturing them and it just means the world to us when people truly appreciate that.
I can’t say enough good things about these guys. I know you’ll enjoy looking through the photos from their beautiful wedding day.
