Beth and Scott are two of the kindest people we know and we are so thrilled that they’ve found each other. We are grateful to have been chosen to capture this portion of their love story. We loved getting to know them during their engagement session and then getting to spend one of the most important days of their lives together. Their family and friends were a joy to be around also. Beth’s sweet sister-in-law owns the company that created their beautiful wedding invitation that you’ll see below.
My mom recently retired and was spending a couple of days with us before Beth and Scott’s wedding. She had planned to leave on the morning of the wedding but Ryan had been feeling pretty sick the day before. We later found out that he had the flu…twice. He was determined to power through the wedding day but we decided my mom should come along too just to help out. It was also supposed to rain most of the day so we knew it would be nice to have an extra set of hands for umbrella holding, dress fluffing, etc. Beth and Scott were so sweet and welcoming to all of us and ended the night with hugs for everyone.
Sometimes brides ask what the photos will look like if it rains on their wedding day. Well, this is what they can look like. Absolutely beautiful. The light on cloudy/rainy days can be really pretty and if we can find some cover, we’ll be set. We can also potentially get an amazing night shot. The one near the bottom of this gallery is definitely one of my all time favorites. These two had the absolute best attitudes and didn’t even mention the weather all day. We know a rainy wedding day is not something a bride hopes for but we promise to do our best to capture beautiful images and even some that clear weather brides wouldn’t have the opportunity for, like the rain shot below.
Beth and Scott held their reception at the newly renovated River Run County Club and it was absolutely beautiful. Tall ceilings, beautiful arches, gorgeous chandeliers, even the wall color…everything was just perfect and looked amazing with the decor that Beth and Scott had chosen. I know you’ll love looking through these images from their special day!
